Pro Tips:

Flipping: Depending on what air fryer you own, you will probably have to flip them about halfway during the cooking process.

Crowding: Do not crowd your air fryer basket; otherwise, the dough will stay raw.

Checking On Your Food: Remember, since every air fryer is slightly different, check on your food as it is cooking up.

Basting: I love basting these biscuits frequently during the cooking process, as they help keep your biscuit moist and help achieve the golden brown color.

Making These In An Air Fryer Oven: Prepare as directed, and then place the tray on the lowest level of the air fryer, so both the inside and outside will be perfectly cooked.

What Is The Best Biscuit To Use?

For this recipe, I suggest that you use Pillsbury Grand Biscuits, which are flaky so that they easily pull apart.

If you have another biscuit, you can always use one piece for the top and one for the bottom, but it will increase your cooking time.

What Ham To Use

I love these because they are very versatile. From using leftover Air Fryer Easter Ham to using a simple package from your local deli, this recipe will work with any of them!

Remember, since your biscuits are small, cut your ham into pieces to assemble.

Storing Leftover Biscuit Sandwiches

Do you love biscuit sandwiches but don’t always have the time to make them? Well, have no fear! You can easily store leftover biscuit sandwiches so that you can enjoy them later.

Let them cool to room temperature and then place them into an airtight container or Ziploc Bag. They will stay in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

You can reheat them in the microwave or air fryer, heat them until warmed thoroughly.

How To Freeze

These freeze well, which is a great way to keep your freezer stocked for your kids!

To freeze them, prepare them as directed. I find that these freeze better after cooking them. Let them cool to room temperature, and then wrap them individually in freezer paper. Then place them into a freezer bag. They will last for about one month.

Let them thaw in the refrigerator, then reheat in the microwave or the air fryer for best results. Heat until warmed through.

Some Great Dipping Sauces:

These pair well with a variety of dipping sauces, and if you have kids, you know they love dipping foods. Some of my favorites to serve these with are:
