How to Make Easy Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls

Step One: Mix the shredded chicken with buffalo sauce in a large bowl, making sure it’s well coated.
Step Two: Lay out an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface or cutting board. Place a spoonful of the buffalo chicken mixture in the center, sprinkle shredded cheese on top.

Step Three: Fold the wrapper’s sides over the filling, then roll it up tightly, sealing the end with a bit of water or a flour paste (a mix of flour and water). This helps to keep the egg roll closed during cooking.
Step Four: Preheat your air fryer to 370 degrees F (or 190°C), for 3-5 minutes. Lightly spray the basket with nonstick cooking spray.

Step Four: Place the egg rolls in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray the tops of the egg rolls with cooking oil. Set cook time for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Step Five: Once they’re done, let them cool for a few minutes, and then serve with ranch, hot sauce, or blue cheese dressing for dipping.

Easy Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls Recipe Tips
- Don’t overfill the wrappers: Too much filling can cause the egg rolls to burst during cooking.
- Seal edges with water: Brush a little water on the edges to ensure they stay closed.
- Flip halfway through: Turn egg rolls in the air fryer for even golden crispiness.
- Adjust spice level: Use mild, medium, or extra buffalo sauce depending on your heat preference.
- Add cream cheese for creaminess: Mixing in cream cheese with the filling balances the heat and makes the inside extra gooey.
- Serve immediately: Egg rolls are best when hot and crispy; the crust softens if left too long.
Storing Instructions
- Refrigerator: Let the egg rolls cool completely, then store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Reheating: Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 2–3 minutes until crispy. Avoid microwaving if you want to keep them crunchy.
- Freezing: Freeze uncooked, assembled egg rolls on a tray first, then transfer to a freezer-safe bag. Cook from frozen in the air fryer for 6–8 minutes, flipping halfway through.
