How To Make Easy Air Fryer Spinach and Tomato Frittata

Step One: Set your air fryer to 400 degrees F according to the manufacturer’s instructions. In a medium-to-large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.

Step Two: Stir in the chopped spinach until evenly distributed throughout the egg mixture. Using a soup ladle, divide the egg mixture evenly among your ramekins.

Step Three: Place the ramekins in the air fryer basket or tray. Depending on your air fryer size, you may need to cook in multiple batches. Set the cook time for 5 minutes.

Step Four: Carefully remove the basket or tray. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and bacon on top of each frittata. Return the basket to the air fryer and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the center is set and the cheese is golden brown.
Step Five: Take the ramekins out using rubber-tipped kitchen tongs or oven mitts and place them on a heatproof surface. Top each frittata with halved grape tomatoes. Let sit for 3–5 minutes before serving.

Air Fryer Spinach and Tomato Frittata Recipe Tips
- Use fresh or frozen spinach: Fresh gives a brighter flavor, but thawed frozen spinach works in a pinch—just squeeze out excess water first.
- Ramekin size matters: Standard 6-ounce ramekins work best. If yours are smaller or larger, adjust the cook time slightly to ensure the frittatas are fully set.
- Cheese and bacon tips: Sprinkle cheese and cooked bacon halfway through cooking for a nicely melted, golden top without overcooking.
- Batch cooking: If your air fryer can’t fit all ramekins at once, cook in batches and keep finished frittatas warm in a low oven.
- Test for doneness: The center should reach 165°F and appear set—not jiggly—before removing from the air fryer.
Storing Instructions
- Refrigerate: Cool completely, then store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Freeze: Wrap individual ramekins in plastic wrap and foil, freeze for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before reheating.
- Reheating: Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–5 minutes or in the microwave until heated through.
