Air Fryer Frozen Battered Cauliflower
If you have not seen these in the frozen food stores, they are made by Birds Eye, and they are officially called Crispy Cauliflower Florets.
They are described by Bird’s Eye to be cauliflower florets that are tossed in a breading. They recommend that you bake them in the oven.
Forget that I say they are amazing in the Air Fryer, crispy and delicious!!
Here Is How To Make Air Fryer Frozen Battered Cauliflower

Step One: Remove from the package and keep frozen until placing directly into the air fryer basket or tray.
Step Two: Set the air fryer temperature to 400 degrees F (200°C) and set cook time for 10-15 minutes. Shake the basket a few times during cooking for even crisping.
Step Three: Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Air Fryer Frozen Battered Cauliflower Recipe Tips
- Cook from frozen: Do not thaw before air frying. Cooking straight from frozen helps keep the coating crispy.
- Don’t overcrowd the basket: Spread cauliflower in a single layer for best results. Overcrowding can lead to soggy spots instead of crispiness.
- Shake halfway through: Shake the basket a few times while cooking. This helps all sides get evenly golden and crispy.
- Adjust cook time as needed: Air fryer models vary, so check a few minutes early. Add extra time if needed for your preferred crispiness.
- Use a light spray if needed: A quick spray of oil can boost crispiness. This is especially helpful for extra crunch.
- Serve immediately: These are best right out of the air fryer. They can lose crispiness if they sit too long.
Storing and Reheating Instructions
- Storing: Place cooled frozen battered cauliflower in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. This keeps them safe to eat, though they may lose some crispiness over time.
- Reheating: Reheat refrigerated or thawed cauliflower in the air fryer at 375°F for 3–5 minutes. This restores crispiness and warms them without making them soggy.
- Microwave Option: You can microwave leftovers for convenience, but they won’t stay as crispy. Use the air fryer afterward for a quick crisp-up if desired.

Serving Suggestions
You can serve them with almost anything; anything goes with this dish. Some of my favorites are:
Air Fryer Frozen Battered Cauliflower Recipe Faqs
Do I need to thaw the cauliflower before air frying? No, cook it straight from frozen to keep the coating crispy.
Can I use a different dipping sauce? Absolutely! Ranch, buffalo, honey mustard, or your favorite sauce works perfectly.
Can I make a larger batch? Yes, but cook in batches to avoid overcrowding the basket and ensure even crisping.
Will it stay crispy after reheating? Reheating in the air fryer keeps it crispy; microwaving will make it softer.
