Instant Pot Easter Rice Krispie Treats Recipe Faqs

Can I use any candy for these treats? Yes! While Easter M&Ms or Reese’s Pieces are festive, any candy or chocolate chips will work.

Can I make these without an Instant Pot? Absolutely. Melt the butter and marshmallows on the stovetop in a saucepan, then mix with the cereal as usual.

How do I make the treats extra chewy? Melt the marshmallows gently and press the mixture lightly into the pan, avoiding over-compression.

Can I store them for later? Yes, keep in an airtight container at room temperature for 3–4 days, refrigerate for up to a week, or freeze up to 2 months.

Can I add flavorings like vanilla or salt? Definitely! A splash of vanilla extract or a pinch of salt enhances the flavor of the treats.

Can kids help make these? Yes, but have adults handle the hot Instant Pot bowl. Kids can mix in the cereal and candies safely.
