Potato skins are a great appetizer for game day or any time you’re looking to snack on something delicious. You can stuff them with all sorts of fillings, but this recipe is for potato skins with bacon and cheese. Can Potato Skins Be Made Ahead of Time

Potato Skins are a delicious appetizer that can be made ahead of time and then heated up when you’re ready to serve them.

For best results, make the baked potatoes first and then let the baked potatoes cool. And then finish the recipe right before you want to serve them. This way, the cheese will be hot, melted, and gooey!

Freezing Instant Pot Loaded Potato Skins

You can also freeze these potato skins. Let them cool to room temperature, and then place them onto a baking sheet. Place the baking sheet into the freezer, and freeze the potatoes until frozen solid. Transfer the frozen potato skins to a freezer bag or a freezer-safe container. They will last for about 2 to 3 months.

Then when you want to cook them up, y9ou can bake them right from frozen.
