Ingredients Needed

- Butter: Use room temperature, unsalted butter
- Sugar: I used a blend of granulated white sugar, and brown sugar, for a great sweet cookie.
- Egg: Use large, room temperature eggs.
- Vanilla: I used pure vanilla extract, for the best flavor.
- Baking Soda: Helps make the cookie soft and fluffy!
- Salt: For some added flavor
- All-Purpose Flour: You can also make this gluten-free, by using gluten-free all-purpose flour.
- Caramel Baking Bits: Found in the baking aisle or at Amazon
- Pecan Pieces: You can use diced or crushed pecan pieces.
- Heavy Cream: For making homemade caramel sauce, as the topping.
How To Make Giant Caramel Pecan Air Fryer Cookie

Step 1: Grease a 7-inch round baking pan with cooking spray. In a large bowl, use a hand mixer to cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla, then mix in the baking soda, salt, and flour. Fold in the pecans and half a cup of caramel bits for a sweet, nutty finish.

Step 2: Pour the cookie batter into the greased pan. Set air fryer temperature to 350 degrees F and set cook time for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Step 3: Combine ½ cup caramel baking bits with heavy cream in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, stirring until the caramel melts into a smooth, creamy sauce.
Step 4: Drizzle all over the top and sprinkle with coarse salt.

Giant Caramel Pecan Air Fryer Cookie
- Use a 7-inch pan: This ensures the cookie cooks evenly and stays soft in the center without overcooking the edges.
- Room temperature butter: Softened butter creams better with sugar, giving your cookie a light and fluffy texture.
- Don’t overmix the flour: Stir just until combined to keep the cookie tender and chewy.
- Distribute caramel bits evenly: Avoid clumps so every bite has gooey caramel goodness.
- Check doneness with a toothpick: The center should be set but slightly soft; it continues to cook a bit after removing from the air fryer.
Storing, Freezing and Reheating Instructions
- Storing: Keep your Giant Caramel Pecan Air Fryer Cookie in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days to maintain its soft, chewy texture.
- Freezing: Wrap the cooled cookie tightly in plastic wrap and place in a freezer-safe bag for up to 2 months; thaw at room temperature before serving.
- Reheating: Warm individual slices in the microwave for 10-15 seconds or in a 325°F oven for 5-7 minutes to bring back that fresh-baked gooeyness.

Giant Caramel Pecan Air Fryer Cookie Recipe Faqs
Can I make this cookie in a regular oven instead of an air fryer? Yes! Bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Can I use salted caramel instead of regular caramel bits? Absolutely! Salted caramel adds a richer, slightly savory-sweet flavor that pairs perfectly with the pecans.
How do I prevent the cookie from sticking to the pan? Lightly spray your baking pan with oil or line it with parchment paper before adding the batter.
Can I make this cookie dairy-free? Yes! Substitute the butter with a dairy-free alternative and use a non-dairy heavy cream for the caramel topping.
Can I add other mix-ins like chocolate chips? Definitely! Chocolate chips, toffee bits, or even white chocolate chunks can be folded into the batter for extra indulgence.
