How to Make Split Chicken Breast or Chicken Quarters in Air Fryer

Step 1: Prep the chicken

Preheat your air fryer to 370 degrees F on the air fryer setting. Rub the olive oil over the chicken, then sprinkle it with your seasoning blend.

Place the chicken leg quarters in air fryer and cook for 20 to 25 minutes — until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.

Should I Remove the Skin for This Split Chicken Breast Recipe?

Nope! Leaving the skin on the air fryer chicken leg quarters helps lock in the moisture and juices from the meat. I don’t recommend removing the skin unless you absolutely want to.

How Can I Tell if Chicken Leg Quarters in Air Fryer Are Done?

You should insert a digital thermometer into the thickest part of the chicken. When it reads 165 degrees F, your chicken leg quarters in air fryer are done!
