Air Fryer Raspberry Pie Bars Recipe Tips
- Use Fresh or Frozen Berries: Both work well, but thaw frozen berries and drain excess liquid to avoid a soggy filling.
- Chill the Crust: Refrigerating the crumb crust for 10–15 minutes before adding the filling helps it hold its shape better.
- Don’t Overmix the Crumb Topping: Gently mix until crumbly to keep a light, flaky texture.
- Check Air Fryer Size: Make sure your pan fits comfortably in your air fryer basket for even cooking.
- Cool Before Slicing: Allow the bars to cool completely to set the filling and make clean slices.
- Optional Toppings: Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with icing for extra sweetness and presentation.
Storing Instructions
- Room Temperature: Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
- Refrigerator: Keep in an airtight container for up to 5 days to maintain freshness.
- Freezer: Wrap bars individually in plastic wrap and place in a freezer-safe container for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before serving.
- Reheating: Warm in the air fryer at 300°F for 3–5 minutes or in the oven at 325°F for 5–7 minutes to refresh the crust and filling.
