How To Cook Canned Biscuits In An Air Fryer
Place your biscuits onto the air fryer basket. Set the temperature to 330 degrees F, on-air fryer setting for 5-10 minutes. The exact time is going to depend on what air fryer you own. They all cook slightly differently.
Turn them halfway to get a nice golden brown over the entire biscuit.
Pro Tips For The Best Air Fryer Canned Biscuits:
- Timing: The time will depend on the air fryer you own; ovens tend to quick faster than basket air fryers.
- Spray your Basket Or Use Parchment Paper: Spray your basket with olive oil spray, or use a piece of parchment paper. Mine does not stick; therefore, I did not spray the basket.
- Flip Your Biscuits: Flip with a pair of sturdy tongs about halfway. This way, each side is cooked to perfection.
- Crowding: Do not crowd the basket; if you do, the biscuits will not cook evenly. Remember, the air fryer works by circulating hot air around the basket. If you remove the spaces, your food will not cook evenly.
How To Make Canned Biscuits In A Basket Air Fryer
To make a great batch of canned biscuits in a basket-style air fryer, the best thing to do is place them in a single layer. If you stack them or have them touching each other, they will not come out ideally.
With some air fryers, you need to flip them so they cook evenly on both sides. In other air fryers, you don’t have to flip them. The key is to try it and see how your air fryer works since every air fryer is different.
How To Make Canned Biscuits In A Oven Style Air Fryer
This is not much easier, except you will have trays to place your canned biscuits on.
The best thing is to still place them on a single layer and ensure they are spread out for the best results. If you have to choose what rack to place them on, I always choose the middle one. Never put them on the top, as they will burn on the outside but be raw on the inside.
Placing the canned biscuits on the bottom level will mean they will cook longer and be raw, as the heating element will not be able to cook them correctly.
How Can I Make Canned Biscuits Better?
There are many ways to make canned biscuits better and delicious treats in your air fryer. Some of my favorites are mixing some room temperature butter into the dough and then placing it into the air fryer; You get the most lovely and semi-homemade buttered biscuit.
Some friends add dried fruit, such as dried blueberries and apples. You almost have a scone.
How To Store Unused Biscuit Dough
Once you open the biscuit dough, you need to use it within a few days. Otherwise, the raw biscuit dough will start to harden. To do this and get the best results, I usually add it to an airtight Ziploc bag and place it in the refrigerator. The key is that you need to use it up in a day or two. Otherwise, it will harden.
Suppose you want to freeze unused biscuit dough for the best results. I place the unused biscuit dough on a baking sheet. Place the baking sheet into the freezer and then when the biscuits are frozen solid, remove and place in a freezer-safe bag.
Cooking Frozen Biscuits In The Air Fryer
Start by preheating the air fryer to 340 degrees F, air fryer setting, for about 5 minutes.
Then spray the basket with cooking spray and place the frozen biscuits into the basket without crowding it. Air Fry at 340 degrees F, air fryer setting, for 5 minutes flipping them over after 5 minutes, and air frying for another 3-4 minutes.
Before removing them from the air fryer basket, check that they are fully cooked. Depending on the air fryer, they may or may not need additional time.

I made Grands in my oven airfryer, they were a beautiful golden color but not cooked through. Do I lower the temperature?
Judith Russo
I made canned refrigerated biscuits in the air fryer for the first time. My timing was 5 minutes. They are absolutely beautiful. Better than they would have been in the oven. Thank you for the recipe.
Sandra Jenkins
Thank you! I have tried several times to do this, but my biscuits were always partially uncooked in the middle. Looks like I was using too high if a temp. I will try again at 330°.

Omg, turned out perfect, 360 degrees and perfection at 8 minutes. Will never heat my oven for a biscuit. Thanks
