With a snow day, or a couple of them, comes lots and lots of baking, yesterday I made a batch of Air Fryer Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, and truthfully, I think I ate half of them. They are so yummy.
Softy and chewy, just like they are supposed to be, the air fryer did a wonderful job making them. Everyone loves cookies, and everyone can really have superb cookies by the use of the air fryer, and the best part of them (besides the taste) is they only take about 6 minutes!
If you have not made cookies in the air fryer, they are simple to make, whether you have an air fryer basket or an air fryer oven. The technique will be slightly different, but you will get the same amazing result.

Air Fryer Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
So yesterday was a snow day, which really lent it’s hadn to baking. My kids are huge fans of cookies. So, I whipped up htis batch, adn enjoyed a plate of homeamde air fryer baked cookies. We love cookies and pair iwith a cold glass of milk, and you have a great aftenroon or evening dessert.
The air fryer does an amazing job with the baking of these cookies. The outside is crispy, and the inside is warm, gooey, and chewy, everything you really want in a cookie.
How Does An Air Fryer Bake?
The air fryer and a convectional oven actually operate pretty much the same. The hot air circulates in the air fryer basket. While the hot air is circulating around the basket, the cookie is crisping up.
This means an even cooking temperature in the air fryer. This means that cookies do really well since they are cooking from the outside in. This causes the cookies to stay moist inside while crisping up on the outside.
Can I Bake Cookies In The Air Fryer Basket?
Yes, you really can quite easily. You need to pick up an Air Fryer Parchment Paper package made just for air fryer cookie baking. It does not have holes. This means that you need to line the basket with the paper and weigh it down accordingly.
Place the cookies around the paper so that there is no chance that the parchment paper will blow into the heating element.
Can I Bake Cookies In The Ninja Foodie?
Yes, follow the directions above, and line your basket. I did find that you will probably want to check your cookies about halfway.
The Ninja Foodie’s Design causes most baked goods to cook faster than other air fryers. So, check frequently so you do not end up with a plate of burnt cookies.
HOW TO WARM UP AIR FRYER COOKIES
If you want to heat them up, for the family, I put mine in for 2 to 3 minutes at 300 degrees F, or until warmed. Great for a special treat for the family.
