What Are Jam Tarts?

Jam tarts are a favorite in England, where they serve them for high tea. The tarts are typically served in a flaky pastry crust.

With the air fryer, you get the same texture for the crispy and flaky crust. They remind me of an pie with no top crust.

How To Make Air Fryer Jam Tarts

Start by cutting out circles, large enough to fit inside your muffin tin.

Place the dough into a greased muffin tin (spray your muffin tin with olive oil before you place the dough inside.)

Press the dough onto the sides. (only about 1/3 the way up) Pour the pie filling into the center. Set it in the air fryer for 5-7 minutes at 320 degrees F. (air fryer setting)

How Long Do Jam Tarts Keep?

These will keep for about 2 to 3 days, at room temperature. For any longer, I would put them into an airtight container.

These do not freeze well, so for best results, eat them fresh.
