What Are Brussels Sprouts?

Brussel sprouts are small, leafy vegetables that grow in bunches. They come from the same family as cabbage and collard greens. Brussels sprouts taste is similar to broccoli but with a more robust flavor, making them perfect for those who don’t like strong-tasting vegetables. Brussel sprouts are seasonal, so they’re not available year-round. It’s best to buy these when they’re in season because then you’ll be able to get the freshest ones!

HOW DO I CHOOSE THE BEST BRUSSELS SPROUTS?

A lot of people are wondering, how do I choose the best Brussels sprouts? It can be confusing to know which ones are fresh and ready for cooking because they all look similar. If you want to make sure you’re getting the right kind, here’s what you need to know!

First things first: Make sure that your Brussels sprouts have tight heads with no yellowing leaves. They should also feel heavy for their size and not rubbery or limp at all. When it comes time to cook them, cut off any browned or wilted outer leaves before air frying them.

HOW TO STORE COOKED BRUSSEL SPROUTS

Store your cooled sprouts in an airtight container and keep them in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.

You can reheat the Air Fryer Honey Balsamic Brussels Sprouts in the microwave or air fryer. Heat until warmed through.
