But we want you to have some quick and easy options on hand, so you don’t have to resort to fast food or take-out during these busy times. This recipe is for Air Fryer Ranch Oyster Crackers because they’re not only delicious but can also be made with ingredients your family will love…and in less than 10 minutes!
It’s easy for moms to get stuck in a rut, cooking the same things repeatedly. It’s not always easy to think of what to make when you have picky eaters or don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen.
This recipe is a great option because it only takes 10 minutes! You can whip them up while your kids watch their favorite show, and they’ll be done before they know it. Plus, these ranch oyster crackers will help bring back that feeling of being on vacation at the beach without leaving your house.

Ingredients Needed For Air Fryer Ranch Oyster Crackers
- Oyster Crackers
- Vegetable Oil
- Garlic Powder
- Ranch Dressing (Dry)
How To Make Air Fryer Ranch Oyster Crackers
Start by adding the oyster crackers to a large re-sealable bag. Add the ranch dressing, vegetable oil, and garlic powder. Shake well to coat.
Spread them in the air fryer basket or on the air fryer tray. Set the temperature to 320 degrees F (air fryer setting) for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, check if they are cooked. If not, another 5 minutes.
PRO TIPS:
- This recipe will work in any Air Fryer, including any Air Fryer Basket or Oven Model. I have also prepared this recipe in the Ninaj Foodi, Instant Pot Vortex, GoWise, PowerXL, Instant Pot Crisp Lid, and Mealthy Lid. The recipe will work the same, but the cooking time may vary.
- Although you think that these crackers would fly around in the air fryer basket, I have not had that. I found that the Oyster Crackers are weighted down so they do not fly up. But if you are worried about that, then weigh down your crackers down with a trivet.
- For best results, shake your basket several times during the cooking process.
- Double your batch, these last for about a week, and they are such a quick and delicious snack that the entire family will love.
Variations:
While this classical Air Fryer Ranch Oyster cracker is amazing, if you are looking for different twists on this recipe, here are some of my favorites:
Spicy: Add about 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of Cayenne Peper or Red Pepper Flakes. Adjust to your taste buds.
Taco Seasoning: This is a great option. Switch out the Ranch Dressing for the Taco seasoning.
Sweet Oyster Crackers: Switch out the Ranch for a sweet recipe, add about 1/3 cup of granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
What Do You Do With Oyster Crackers?
Traditionally Oyster crackers are served with soup, stew, or even broth. Today, I made a batch of seasoned Air Fryer Ranch Oyster Crackers for a quick snack while watching TV.
They are so good!
My mother used to make these in the oven when I was growing up. I am pretty sure she found the recipe on the package of Ranch Dressing by Hidden Valley Dressing.
How To Store Air Fryer Ranch Oyster Crackers
