Everyone loves homemade chips; today, I tackled homemade beet chips. The exact time will be determined on how thin you slice them, and I sliced mine about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. All they needed was some olive oil and a pinch of good salt, and I used my favorite sea salt from Trader Joe’s. My kids and husband absolutely loved them!

  • 2 whole beets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt

  1. Start by peeling the beets.
  2. Use a Mandoline and cut the beets, between 1/2 and 1/3 inch thick. Add in the olive oil and salt and coat the beets.
  3. Spread the coated beets on the air fryer tray or in the air fryer basket.
  4. Set the temperature to 310 degrees for 15-25 minutes, flip the beets with tongs every 3 minutes. If they need additional time, continue air frying and flipping every three minutes until they are done. They will crisp up as they cool down.
  5. Plate, serve, and enjoy!
