Today, I wanted to make my Cream Cheese Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers, but a KETO friendly version. So, if you are on a low carb diet or KETO. This is the recipe for you.
Appetizers in the air fryer are really awesome and like most appetizers recipes, they should be quick.
Here are some of my favorite air fryer appetizer recipes,
Here are the simple instructions if you have not made them before,
-
Layout your peppers on a cutting board.
-
Start by cutting your peppers in 1/2, then take out the seeds. I used a small spoon. Be careful, because both the membrane and seeds are hot and the oil, also causes your fingers to burn.
-
In a small bowl mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
-
Then use a small spoon and fill the pepper cavity, your fingers work really well for this. Try to smooth the top as much as you can with the back of a spoon.
-
Cut the bacon strips in half and then wrap it around the popper.
-
Spray the bottom of your air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray and then as you make them, place them into the basket.
-
Set the temperature for 320 degrees F, for 12 minutes.
