Air Fryer Bacon Bombs

This week’s guest chef recipe is Janice, an extraordinary chef and air fryer user. Today, Janice used her Secura Air Fryer to make this masterpiece.

About Janice:

Hello, I am Janice from Nashville, Tennessee. I have worked downtown for 35+ years for a mid-level law firm. I started air frying back in 2020 and fell in love with it. Rarely, if ever, do I use my stove and oven. I enjoy the quickness of the air fryer, but even better, I love the taste!! I grew up cooking with my Momma and Momma Arnold and have learned to adapt their recipes to the air fryer. I’m old school, and so is my husband, Brian, but making such simple and delicious meals so quickly have been such a blessing. I wish I had an air fryer when my children were little. Trying to get to football/baseball/cheer/tennis practices could have been so much less hectic. I hope you enjoy this recipe. Lunch, dinner, or a snack in less than 15 minutes!!

What Are Air Fryer Bacon Bombs

Who doesn’t love bacon? It’s the perfect food – salty, crispy, and delicious. And it’s even better when it’s wrapped around a cheesy inside. That’s why I’m excited to share my Air Fryer Bacon Bombs recipe.

How To Make Air Fryer Bacon Bombs

Separate your crescent rolls, crumble the bacon, and cut the mozzarella into eight pieces. Put one cube of cheese and some bacon on the crescent roll. Pull the sides up around the bacon and cheese, so it doesn’t seep out, then roll it up.

Spray your rack or basket with cooking spray and place the bombs in. Cook at 320 f for 7-8 minutes until golden brown. Topping – melt the butter and add a few Italian seasoning and garlic powder shakes. After the bombs have cooled a bit, brush the tops. Serve with pizza sauce or ranch dressing! Enjoy!!

FAQ’s:

Do I need to pre-heat my air fryer?

You do not need to preheat your air fryer for this recipe. This recipe will work perfectly without any preheating. The cooking time will vary based on what air fryer you are using, so remember to watch them as they cook up.

Can I use a different cheese?

Although I used mozzarella sticks today, you could also use Cheddar Cheese Sticks, Colby Jack Cheese Sticks, or even White Cheddar Cheese Sticks.

You can also use shredded cheese in any of the above flavors.

How To Store:

This is a great make-ahead breakfast that you can easily make the night before and then store in the refrigerator until the following day. For best results, let the Air Fryer Bacon Bombs cool to room temperature and then place them into an airtight container. Left in the refrigerator, they will last for about 2 to 3 days.

You can always reheat them in the microwave or the air fryer, heat them until they are warmed through.

How To Freeze:

These freeze remarkably well. This is a great recipe that you can double or even triple. Make them per the directions below, and then place them onto a greased baking sheet. Pop the baking sheet into the freezer, and freeze them until frozen solid. Remove them from the freezer and put them into a freezer-safe container or freezer bag.

When ready to eat them, place them into the air fryer basket frozen and cook until warmed through.
