Easy Air Fryer Kimchi Pancakes Recipe Tips

  • Don’t overcrowd the basket: Leave space between pancakes so air circulates and they cook evenly.
  • Pat kimchi dry: Excess liquid can make pancakes soggy; gently squeeze out extra brine before mixing.
  • Adjust thickness: If the batter feels too loose, add a little more flour for sturdier pancakes.
  • Flip halfway for even crisping: This ensures both sides turn golden brown and crunchy.
  • Serve immediately: These pancakes are best fresh out of the air fryer for maximum crispiness.
  • Customize flavors: Add garlic, ginger, or a pinch of chili flakes to enhance the kimchi flavor.

Storing, Freezing and Reheating Instructions

  • Storing: Keep leftover kimchi pancakes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • Freezing: Place cooled pancakes in a freezer-safe bag and freeze for up to 1 month, then reheat in the air fryer at 350°F until crispy.
  • Reheating: Warm refrigerated or frozen pancakes in the air fryer for 3–5 minutes to restore their crispiness.
