How To Make Air Fryer S’mores Cookies

Mixing cookie dough with butter, sugars, egg, vanilla, flour, and graham cracker crumbs in separate bowls.

Step 1: In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract. In another bowl, whisk together the graham cracker crumbs, flour, and baking powder, then gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a soft dough forms.

Step 2: Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to make it easier to handle. This also helps the cookies maintain their shape while baking.

Step 3: Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to form small dough balls, then gently flatten them into cookie shapes. Leave space between each cookie, as they will spread slightly while baking.

Step 4: Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper suitable for air frying. Set cook time for 6-8 minutes. Open the air fryer and quickly place a piece of milk chocolate and marshmallows on each cookie. Close the air fryer and cook for 1-2 minutes or until the marshmallows are golden and puffy.

Step 5: Carefully remove the cookies from the air fryer and cool them on a wire rack. They will firm up as they cool

Easy Air Fryer S’mores Cookies Recipe Tips

  • Use cold dough: Chilled dough helps cookies hold their shape in the air fryer.
  • Evenly distribute mix-ins: Fold in chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers gently to avoid melting or breaking.
  • Space cookies apart: Allow room for spreading so they don’t stick together.
  • Check air fryer timing: Cook times vary by model; cookies are done when golden and slightly firm.
  • Avoid overbaking: Cookies continue to set as they cool, so remove when edges are lightly browned.
  • Customize flavors: Add a pinch of cinnamon or sea salt for extra depth.
  • Serve warm: Best enjoyed fresh from the air fryer while chocolate and marshmallows are gooey.
  • Storage tip: Keep leftovers in an airtight container for 2–3 days.

Storing, Freezing and Reheating Instructions

  • Storing: Store cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature. They stay fresh for 2–3 days.
  • Freezing: Wrap individual cookies in plastic wrap or foil, then place in a freezer-safe bag. Freeze for up to 2 months.
  • Reheating: Warm cookies in the air fryer at 325°F for 2–4 minutes or in the oven at 350°F for 5 minutes. Heat until chocolate and marshmallows are soft and gooey.

Easy Air Fryer S’mores Cookies Recipe Faqs

Can I use fresh marshmallows instead of mini marshmallows? Yes! Just chop larger marshmallows into smaller pieces so they melt evenly in the cookies.

Can I make these gluten-free? Absolutely! Use a 1:1 gluten-free all-purpose flour blend to replace regular flour.

How long do these cookies last? Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 2–3 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.

Can I use chocolate chunks instead of chips? Yes! Chopped chocolate bars work perfectly for gooey pockets of chocolate in each cookie.

Can I make smaller or larger cookies? Yes! Adjust the cooking time accordingly—smaller cookies bake faster, larger ones need a few extra minutes.

How do I know when they’re done? Cookies are lightly golden on the edges and still soft in the center; they firm as they cool.
