Ninja Foodi Barbacoa Beef Recipe Faqs
What other spices can I add to my barbacoa beef? In addition to the spices we use, you can use spices like onion powder, oregano, and chipotle chili powder. Chipotle chili powder will give your beef an extra kick while regular chili powder mainly adds sweetness. You can also add finely diced habanero peppers if you want to add some extra heat to your dish.
Can I freeze my barbacoa beef? Once you shred your beef, you can freeze it for up to 3 months. You’re going to want to let it cool to room temperature and then transfer it a gallon-sized Ziploc bag. Lay your bag flat in the freezer. The night before you want to enjoy the beef, throw it in the fridge and let it thaw. Once it is thawed out completely you can throw it all in a pot and reheat it over medium heat, stirring occasionally until warm. Don’t leave it on the stove for too long because we don’t want to cook off too much moisture.
