Breakfast Potatoes in the Air Fryer These are my kid’s favorite potatoes. I mean, doesn’t everyone really love Air Fryer Breakfast Potatoes? Before I got my air fryer, I used to make them in a skillet.

Since I have been using my stoveless and less, I thought I would give it a shot in the air fryer, and I’m so glad I did. They worked out perfectly. Today, I am showing you how to make Air Fryer Breakfast Potatoes.

These potatoes come out nice and crispy, and you can make a massive batch of them in no time. One of the best things is you can season them any way you like. I tend to season mine with salt, paprika, and some other spices because I like a nice flavor on my potatoes.

I’m not too fond of breakfast potatoes greasy, so I never order them when we go out to eat. If you have ever ordered them in a restaurant, you know what I am talking about. They are really just greasy and not very healthy. But, with the air fryer, you change all of that.

These are a great side dish anytime. My kids love these with traditional BBQ dishes, hamburgers, and hot dogs. And since you don’t have to be in the kitchen while they cook, you can make them when you have a large gathering, family reunion, 4th of July party, etc. They are the perfect side dish.

Ingredient Notes:

Potatoes: You can use some Yukon gold potatoes or even Russet potatoes for this recipe. Both of these potatoes will hold their shape during air frying.

Onions: I love to use sweet onions, but you can also use white or red onions for this recipe.

Spices and Seasonings: You can add anything you would love. You can also use simple salt and black pepper. I love serving it with some additional smoked paprika, which enhances the flavor!

Bell Peppers: I love using different collared bell peppers, making this a pretty dish if you want to serve it at a Brunch or Holiday Mornings.

Pro Tips For Air Fryer Country Potatoes!

Potatoes: Try to cut your potatoes into equal size portions, so they all cook up simultaneously.

Flipping: I love to toss my potatoes a few times during the cooking process, so they all cook up to perfection.

Crowding: Be careful not to crowd your breakfast potatoes; otherwise, they will not cook up properly. You want a flat layer so that the heat can reach every one of your potatoes.

Making These In Air Fryer Oven: If you are not using an air fryer basket for this recipe, remember you can also make them in any Air Fryer Oven Model or even the Ninja Foodi, the recipe will be the same, but place the tray or shelf on the bottom level, this way both the top and bottom will cook to perfection.

All Air Fryers Are Not The Same: Since all air fryers are slightly different and even have different wattages, remember to watch your Breakfast Potatoes as they cook up!
