Pro Tips:
- Always use quality ingredients when making brownies from scratch.
- One of the most important things to remember when cooking with brownies is never to overcook them. Once they start pulling away from one another and have a set appearance, then it’s time for your tasty treat!
- I recommend letting brownies cool entirely, so they are easier to cut. The result will be a firmer cake that won’t fall apart when you miss it and tastes better!
Mix-Ins:
While you do not need any mix-ins, some of my favorite ways to dress these up are by:
- Nuts, diced walnuts, or pecans
- M&M’s (Valentine’s day)
- Peanut Butter Chips
- Butterscotch Chips
