Air Fryer Three Cheese Quiche is a creamy, savory blend of cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan in a flaky crust, made easy with the air fryer! Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a light dinner, this quiche is packed with rich, cheesy flavor and cooks up beautifully in minutes.
This is a great recipe, which starts off with a frozen pie crust. I actually made this several times, before I realized that If I wanted a crispy crust, I would have to prebake it, before filling it.
This is so easy to make, and I hope you all get a chance to make it. This is one of my favorite breakfast recipes.
And let me be the first to tell you that eggs cook amazingly well in the Air Fryer.

Step Two: Then add 1/2 the shredded cheese (so 4 ounces), all of the shredded Parmesan and Mozzarella,
Step Three: In a small bowl, mix together the eggs, sour cream and milk. Pour the egg mixture on top of the cheese Set in the air fryer, basket, or tray, and set the temperature to 300 degrees F, set cook time for for 12 minutes.
After 12 minutes, add the rest of the shredded cheese on top, and set the air fryer for another 5 minutes. At this point, depending on which air fryer you own, the center should be set.
Air Fryer Three Cheese Quiche Recipe Tips
-
Use a Pre-Baked Crust: For the best results, pre-bake the pie crust slightly before adding the filling to ensure it stays crisp in the air fryer.
-
Room Temperature Ingredients: Let your eggs, cheeses, and sour cream come to room temperature before mixing—this helps them blend smoothly for a consistent filling.
-
Avoid Overfilling: Pour the egg mixture just below the top of the crust to prevent overflow as the quiche bakes and expands.
-
Check for Doneness: Cooking times may vary by air fryer. Insert a knife in the center—if it comes out clean, the quiche is ready.
-
Customize the Cheeses: Swap in any favorite cheeses you have on hand, like Gouda or Swiss, for a unique flavor twist.
-
Let it Cool Slightly: Allow the quiche to sit for a few minutes after cooking, which helps it set and makes slicing easier.
-
Freeze for Later: This quiche freezes well! Portion and freeze any extras, then reheat for a quick, delicious meal anytime.
Air Fryer Three Cheese Quiche Recipe Faqs
Can I use a homemade crust instead of a frozen pie crust? Absolutely! You can use homemade pie dough; just pre-bake it for a few minutes in the air fryer to prevent sogginess.
What cheeses work best for this recipe? Cheddar, Parmesan, and Mozzarella create a great flavor blend, but you can substitute with other favorites like Gruyère, Swiss, or Monterey Jack.
Can I add vegetables or meat to the quiche? Yes! Additions like spinach, mushrooms, onions, or bacon make great complements to the cheese filling—just ensure they are pre-cooked and drained to avoid excess moisture.
How can I tell when the quiche is fully cooked? The quiche is done when the center is set and a knife inserted comes out clean. If it’s still wobbly, cook for a few more minutes.
Can I make this quiche ahead of time? Yes, this quiche can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F until warmed through.

I use almost this exact recipe… but as 1c of meat and 1cup of veggies to the mix. I layer cheese, meat and veggies and pour the egg/ dairy mixture over it. Combinations that are delish include Hot Breakfast Sausage/ Chopped Green Chili, Chopped Ham/ fresh Spinach, Cooked Crumbled Chicken/ Broccoli. You get the idea…. even ground Italian Sausage/ Chopped onion and tomatoes. I usually precook the meatsand sometimes the veggies, just using common sense.
