How To Make Air Fryer Souffle Pancakes

Step One: Spray your ramekins generously with cooking spray to prevent sticking. In two small bowls, separate the egg whites from the yolks. Add the oil, milk, and vanilla extract to the egg yolks and mix well. Slowly fold in the flour until smooth.

Step Two: Add the sugar and white vinegar to the egg whites. Whip with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the egg yolk mixture into the whipped egg whites, being careful not to deflate the batter. Spoon the batter evenly into the greased ramekins, filling each almost to the top.

Step Three; Preheat your air fryer temperature to 250 degrees F (120°C) using the air fryer setting. Place the filled ramekins into the air fryer basket and cook for 8–10 minutes until puffed and cooked through. Top your soufflé pancakes with whipped cream, maple syrup, and fresh berries.

Air Fryer Souffle Pancakes Recipe Tips
- Spray ramekins well to prevent sticking and allow easy removal.
- Gently fold the yolk mixture into whipped egg whites to keep pancakes light and airy.
- Preheat your air fryer to ensure even cooking and fluffiness.
- Check for doneness after 8 minutes; cooking times may vary depending on air fryer model.
- Serve immediately for best texture; these pancakes are best enjoyed fresh.
Storing Instructions
- Refrigeration: Let the pancakes cool completely, then store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
- Reheating: Warm in the microwave for 20–30 seconds or in a lightly greased air fryer at 250°F for 2–3 minutes. Avoid high heat to keep them from collapsing.
- Freezing: Not recommended, as these delicate pancakes lose their airy texture when frozen. Always enjoy fresh for the best soufflé experience.

Easy Air Fryer Souffle Pancakes Recipe Faqs
Can I make these pancakes without an air fryer? Yes! You can make them in a conventional oven at 250°F (120°C) using ramekins. Cook until the pancakes rise and are golden, about 12–15 minutes.
Can I use milk alternatives? Absolutely. Almond milk, oat milk, or soy milk work well in place of regular milk.
Can I freeze these pancakes? Yes. Let them cool completely, then wrap individually in plastic wrap and place in a freezer bag. Reheat in the microwave when ready to eat.
How do I prevent them from deflating? Gently fold the egg whites into the yolk mixture to maintain airiness. Avoid overmixing or shaking the ramekins during cooking.
Can I add flavors or mix-ins? Yes! You can fold in chocolate chips, blueberries, or a pinch of cinnamon for extra flavor, but keep the batter light to maintain fluffiness.
