If you’re looking for a delicious breakfast or brunch dish, look no further than Dutch Baby Pancakes! This sweet and fluffy pancake is perfect with your favorite toppings. In this recipe, we’ll show you how to make them at home–in the air fryer! Let’s get started!

Dutch baby pancakes are a type of quick bread that originated in the Netherlands. They’re also known as German pancakes or “upside-down” pancakes because they’re baked in a pan rather than on a griddle like most other types of pancakes. The batter includes egg whites, vanilla extract, and confectioners’ sugar, which gives the pancake an airy texture similar to angel food cake.

They are so good!

Air Fryer Dutch Baby Tips

  • There is nothing better for a Dutch Baby than cooking it to perfection in a cast-iron pan. Yes, you can use cast iron in the Air Fryer. Find a small pan that fits in your air fryer. It will come in handy for baking in the Air Fryer.
  • For best results, serve right after cooking, as, as the Dutch Baby cools down, it will lose some of the height and deflate.
  • Start with ingredients at room temperature.
  • Make sure the Dutch Baby is fully cooked before removing it from the air fryer.

What To Serve Your Dutch Baby With?

A Dutch Baby is a classic breakfast or brunch dish, but there are many ways to eat it! Some of my favorite ways are:

  • Maple Syrup
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Fresh Fruit
  • Whipped Cream and Berries
  • Slices of avocado, salsa, and a fried egg on top.
