Description

Looking for a fun twist on your breakfast routine? Try making German pancakes in your air fryer! Also known as Dutch baby pancakes, these puffy, golden treats are super easy to whip up and perfect for anyone who loves pancakes but wants to shake things up a bit.

Ingredients 

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons butter, unsalted, divided
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

Optional Toppings: powdered sugar, maple syrup, fresh fruit, etc.

Instructions

  • Start by mixing the eggs, milk, salt, and 2 tablespoons of butter, vanilla extract, sugar, and flour in a large mixing bowl
  • Mix well; remember to scrape the sides.
  • Melt the 2 tablespoons of butter, and then brush it onto the pan
  • Pour the batter into the pan.
  • Set in the air fryer oven or your basket, and set the temperature for 330 degrees F for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, flip your pancake and air fry for another 3 minutes.
  • Then remove from the air fryer, plate with powdered sugar, maple syrup, or fresh berries, 
  • Plate, serve, and enjoy!
