Craving those famous Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits? With this easy air fryer version, you can whip up warm, cheesy, garlicky goodness right at home—no reservation needed!

The best part of my family’s meal at Red Lobster is the Cheddar Bay Biscuits. If you have not had them, you are really missing out. They have all three of my favorites combined into one – garlic, cheese, and bread. What could be better?
Clearly, others agree with me because the Red Lobster biscuit mix is sold around the United States.

How To Make Air Fryer Red Lobster Biscuits

Step One: Grab two bowls. In one bowl, whisk together all the wet ingredients. In the other, combine the dry ingredients. Then pour the wet mixture into the dry and stir in the shredded cheese using a wooden spoon or dough whisk.

Step Two: Use your hands to knead the dough gently and form it into a large ball. Cut the dough in half, then continue cutting until you have 16 evenly sized pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and slightly flatten the bottom.
Step Three: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for about 5 minutes. Line your air fryer basket with foil, then place the biscuits in a single layer. (You may need to work in batches.) Air fry for 9 minutes, or until golden brown.
Step Four: While the biscuits cook, melt the butter and stir in the garlic and parsley until well combined. Brush the hot biscuits with the garlic herb butter, plate them up, and dig in while they’re warm and fluffy!

Red Lobster Biscuits in the Air Fryer Recipe Tips
- Don’t Overmix the Dough: Mix just until combined. Overworking the dough can make the biscuits tough instead of tender and fluffy.
- Use Cold Ingredients: Cold buttermilk and cream help keep the dough light. Chilled butter creates steam pockets that give you those flaky layers.
- Shred Your Own Cheese: Freshly shredded cheddar melts better and tastes way cheesier than the pre-shredded kind.
- Preheat Your Air Fryer: Always preheat for a few minutes. A hot basket ensures a crispy exterior right from the start.
- Don’t Crowd the Basket: Cook in batches if needed. Biscuits need space for the hot air to circulate or they’ll bake unevenly.
- Watch the Time: Air fryer models vary—check a minute or two early to avoid over-browning.
- Brush Twice with Butter: Once right out of the air fryer, and again before serving if you want that signature Red Lobster garlic-herb shine.
Storing, Freezing & Reheating Instructions
- Storing: Store leftover biscuits in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the fridge for up to 5 days.
- Freezing: Freeze cooled biscuits in a single layer on a baking sheet, then transfer to a freezer-safe bag or container for up to 2 months.
- Reheating: To reheat, pop biscuits in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–4 minutes or until warmed through and crispy again.
