Air Fryer, Raspberry Puff Pastry (From Frozen)
My husband really likes these, so I tried making them in the air fryer, the first time they tasted ok, but they didn’t rise, so for this time, I changed the temperature halfway through the cooking process, and they rose. So, apparently puff pastry needs the heat to be on 400 degrees F, for the last 3 minutes to get the rise. If you notice in the pictures, I also turned them, so that both sides get evenly cooked.
These are the pastries, I used in this recipe. Which are found in the frozen food aisle at the grocery store.
Spread the frozen pastries out in an air fryer tray or basket. Set the temperature to 350 degrees F, (air fryer setting) for 5 minutes.
Then I flipped the pastries since they were not cooked on the bottom (which is an air fryer secret) and air fried at 400 degrees for 2 minutes. Just long enough to get the height of the pastry and the other side to be cooked.
Plate, serve and enjoy!
