Air Fryer Blueberry Pie Bars pack sweet, jammy blueberries between a buttery crust and crumb topping, all cooked right in the air fryer. They’re easy, sliceable, and give you pie vibes without rolling dough or turning on the oven.

These Air Fryer Blueberry Pie Bars are what you make when you want pie but don’t feel like committing to a whole pie situation. Juicy blueberries bubble up between a buttery crust and crumb topping while the air fryer does all the heavy lifting, no oven required.
They slice clean, travel well, and disappear fast, perfect for dessert, brunch, or sneaking one straight from the fridge.

Why You Will Love This Recipe!
- You get all the flavor of blueberry pie without rolling dough or dealing with a finicky crust.
- The air fryer cooks the bars faster than the oven and keeps the kitchen cool.
- They slice clean, making them easy to serve, share, and stash for later.
- Fresh or frozen blueberries both work, so no last-minute store run.
- Sweet enough for dessert but totally acceptable with coffee the next morning.

Ingredients Needed

- Butter: Softened butter creates a rich, tender base.
- Granulated Sugar: Adds sweetness and helps create a soft texture.
- Eggs: Bind the batter and add structure.
- Vanilla Extract: Adds flavor with warm, sweet notes.
- All-Purpose Flour: Provides structure for sturdy, sliceable bars.
- Baking Powder: Helps the bars rise and stay light.
- Blueberry Pie Filling: Thick, sweet blueberry filling with jammy texture.
How To Make Air Fryer Blueberry Pie Bars

Step One: In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together, then mix in the eggs. Then add the vanilla, flour, baking powder and mix well. Mix until everything is well blended.

Step Two: Spray an air fryer-safe pan (if it’s oven safe, it’s generally air fryer safe) with olive oil spray. Choose a pan that is not too thick. Otherwise, you will have a hard time with the bottom cooking.

Step Three: Use about 3/4’s of the dough for the bottom layer, spread it out. So, you get a thin crust. Spread the blueberry pie filling over the top. Scatter the dough over the pie,
Step Four: Set in the air fryer oven or basket, set the time for 10 minutes at 320 degrees F, and then set the air fryer temperature to 300 degrees F for another 10 minutes.
Step Five: Let cool before slicing into bars.

Air Fryer Blueberry Pie Bars Recipe Tips
- Line the pan well so the bars lift out easily and don’t stick. Parchment paper with overhangs is your best friend here.
- Use room-temperature butter and eggs for a smoother batter and even baking. Cold ingredients slow everything down.
- Don’t overmix the batter once the flour goes in. Stir just until combined so the bars stay soft instead of dense.
- Spread the blueberry filling evenly to avoid soggy pockets and uneven slices.
- Check early since air fryers vary. The top should be set and lightly golden before pulling them out.
- Let the bars cool completely before slicing. Warm bars fall apart; cooled bars slice like a dream.
- Use a sharp knife and wipe it clean between cuts for bakery-style squares.
Storing Instructions
Let the blueberry pie bars cool completely before storing so they don’t trap steam. Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days to keep the crust firm and the filling set.

Air Fryer Blueberry Pie Bars Recipe Faqs
Can I use fresh blueberries instead of pie filling? Yes, but you’ll need to cook them down with sugar and a little cornstarch first. Straight fresh berries will release too much liquid and make the bars soggy.
Can I use frozen blueberry pie filling? Yes, just thaw it completely and stir well before using so the filling spreads evenly.
Do I need to preheat the air fryer? It helps with even baking, especially for desserts. A quick 3–5 minute preheat is enough.
Why are my bars too soft in the middle? They likely need a few more minutes of cooking or more cooling time. The filling firms up as the bars cool.
What pan works best in the air fryer? A metal or oven-safe baking pan that fits your air fryer basket works best. Avoid glass unless it’s labeled air fryer safe.
Can I make these ahead of time? Yes, these bars actually slice better after chilling, making them great for prepping a day ahead.
