How To Make Guacamole Deviled Eggs

Here are the step-by-step directions for making air fryer avocado deviled eggs:

Air Fryer Guacamole Deviled Eggs

Prepare the Eggs: Place the hard-boiled eggs in the air fryer basket. Air fry the eggs at 270°F (130°C) for about 2-3 minutes to warm them slightly. This step is optional but can make peeling easier. Once done, let the eggs cool slightly before peeling.

Peel and Halve the Eggs: Peel the hard-boiled eggs. Cut each egg in half lengthwise and remove the yolks, placing them in a medium bowl.

Make the Guacamole Filling: Mash the egg yolks and 1/2 large avocado together until smooth. Add 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of diced cilantro, 1 tablespoon of lime juice, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Mix until well combined.

Fill the Egg Whites: Spoon or pipe the guacamole mixture back into the egg white halves, filling each cavity generously.

Optional Garnish: Garnish with additional cilantro, a sprinkle of paprika, or a small piece of avocado for added flavor and presentation.

How To Easily Peel A Hard Boiled Egg After Air Frying

  • Completely Cool the Eggs: Allow the eggs to cool completely before peeling. This helps the egg detach from the shell more easily. You can even place them in the fridge to speed up the cooling process.
  • The Spin and Tap Method: Gently tap the egg while spinning, ensuring all sides are cracked. This creates a network of cracks that make peeling easier.
  • Be Gentle: Use the side of your fingers to gently peel off the shell. Take your time and peel slowly, lifting the shell ever so slightly. This careful approach ensures the shell comes off with ease.

How To Serve Guacamole Deviled Eggs

  • Arrange on a Platter: Neatly arrange the guacamole deviled eggs on a serving platter. A deviled egg tray with individual grooves can help keep them in place.
  • Garnish for Presentation: Sprinkle additional diced cilantro, paprika, or a small piece of avocado on top of each egg for a pop of color and extra flavor.
  • Serve with Accompaniments: Pair the guacamole deviled eggs with fresh vegetables like cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, or bell pepper strips. T
  • Chill Before Serving: For the best taste and texture, chill the guacamole deviled eggs in the refrigerator for about 15-30 minutes before serving.
  • Perfect for Gatherings: These deviled eggs make an excellent addition to any party, potluck, or holiday gathering.
  • Provide Utensils: If you’re serving the deviled eggs at a buffet or potluck, include small tongs or a fork for guests to use, ensuring they can easily pick up the eggs without touching others.
