  • Use room temperature butter: This helps create a soft, chewy texture.
  • Adjust sweetness: Taste your dough before baking and add a pinch more sugar or molasses if you like a richer flavor.

Easy Air Fryer Gingersnap Cookies Recipe Faqs

Can I use a different flour? Yes! All-purpose flour works best, but you can experiment with whole wheat or gluten-free blends. Just note the texture may be slightly different.

Can I make these cookies without an air fryer? Absolutely. You can bake them in a conventional oven at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes, keeping an eye on them to avoid overbaking.

How do I keep the cookies soft? Store them in an airtight container once cooled. Adding a slice of bread to the container can help maintain softness.

Can I double the recipe? Yes, just make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket, cook in batches for even baking.

Can I add mix-ins like chocolate chips or nuts? Definitely! Fold in your favorite additions after mixing in the egg and vanilla for a customized twist.
