Ingredients
2 1/2 cupall-purpose flour
2teaspoonsbaking soda
1teaspoonground cinnamon
1teaspoonground cloves
2 teaspoonsground ginger
1/2teaspoonground cardamom
1teaspoonsalt
3/4cupbrown sugar
3/4cupunsalted butter, room temperature
1/4cupdark molasses
1largeegg
2teaspoonspure vanilla extract
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, mix the 2 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons baking soda, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1 teaspoon ground cloves, 2 teaspoons ground ginger, 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom, and 1 teaspoon salt.
In another, both add the 3/4 cup unsalted butter3/4 cup brown sugar, and 1/4 cup dark molasses mix well until the batter is fluffy, fold in the 1 large egg and 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Slowly add the flour mixture to the sugar mixture.
Add about 1 1/2 tablespoon of batter to a parchment-lined air fryer basket using a cookie scoop or tablespoon.
Set the air fryer temperature to 320 degrees F, air fryer setting, and set cook time for 5-7 minutes. Remove went the edges start to set. The cookies will harden as they cool down.
