Pro Tips:

  • Spray your pan generously with cooking spray and dust with flour, so the cake slides out.
  • Do not remove the Angel Food Cake until the cake cools down.
  • If you do not have a Cream of Tartar, substitute the white vinegar or lemon juice.
  • This is a light cake, do not over-mix. Otherwise, you will end up with a dense cake.
  • Use a smaller Bundt Cake Pan for this cake. Since you are making it in the air fryer, the best pan is small, which will fit most air fryer baskets and models.

CAN YOU MAKE IT IN A REGULAR CAKE PAN?

Although the cake might not rise lightly like an angel food cake, you can make it.

If you use a regular cake pan, make sure you grease and flour it well. This way, the cake will come out easily.

CAN I MAKE IT THE DAY BEFORE?

Yes, you can easily make this cake ahead of time. All you need to do is cover it tightly with saran wrap, so it doesn’t dry out.

I recommend keeping it out at room temperature to not dry out in the refrigerator.

CAN YOU USE ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR INSTEAD OF CAKE FLOUR?

Cake flour is a fine flour that has been ground down. It also has cornstarch in the flour.

If you need to make cake flour, measure 1 cup of all-purpose flour, remove 2 tablespoons, substitute it for cornstarch, and mix well.
