Air Fryer Almond Crusted Cod-This is a great and easy air fryer recipe for cod. I love a great and easy seafood recipe for the air fryer. Made with a few ingredients, you get a light and flaky piece of fish. And it’s a relatively healthy meal since it uses so little oil.
If you are new to air frying, you can make a ton of meals without a lot of oil, but you can still get that deep-fried taste. I love a great piece of fish, and being from Boston, I absolutely love cod and haddock. My supermarket had a sale on cod, so I picked up a few pieces and made this last night for my family. The kids loved it. It was flaky on the inside and totally crispy on the outside.

Some Common Questions About Air Frying Fish
Tips for Cooking Air Fryer Fish
- Start by drying your fish off with a paper towel, then season your fish with salt and black pepper.
- I always spray my coating with olive oil spray, but you can use melted butter and brush it on with a pastry brush.
- You do not need to flip your fish unless you find that it’s not crisping up evenly on both sides.
How Long Do I Cook Fish In the Air Fryer?
You can usually cook fish (fresh) at 350 degrees F, air fryer setting. The difference in cooking times will depend on a few variables, mostly how thick your fillet is and what type of air fryer you are using.
Frying Frozen Fish Sticks in the Air Fryer
If you want to eat Frozen Fish Sticks, teh air fyer does an amazing job at making them, simply preheat your air fyrer to 360 degrees and then cook them for 8-*12 minutes.
Serve with some fresh lemon wedges or homemade tartar sauce. These are truly a family favorite and kid-friendly lunch at our house!
CAN I USE FROZEN COD OR FISH FILLETS?
Yes, you can; you don’t need to thaw them. Of course, I find it much easier to bread thawed fish. If you only have frozen, toss them into the air fryer. As they defrost, rub some olive oil on them and some seasoning.
If you really want the fish breaded and only have frozen fish, add them to the air fryer, and when they are a bit defrosted, remove them from the air fryer, and then bread as directed in the recipe.
