Storage Instructions for Air Fryer Almond Crusted Cod:
Refrigerating Leftovers: Place any leftover almond-crusted cod in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
Reheating: To maintain its crispiness, reheat leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F (177°C) for about 3-4 minutes or until heated through. Avoid using the microwave, as it can make the crust soggy.
Freezing Uncooked Prepared Fish: You can freeze almond-crusted cod before cooking. Arrange the prepared fish pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze until solid. Once frozen, transfer them to a freezer bag or container and store for up to 3 months. When ready to cook, you can cook them directly from the freezer, adding a few extra minutes to the air fryer cooking time.
Freezing Cooked Fish: Let the cooked almond-crusted cod cool completely. Place them on a baking sheet in a single layer and freeze until solid. Transfer the frozen pieces to an airtight container or freezer bag. Store for up to 1 month. To serve, reheat directly from frozen in the air fryer to maintain crispiness.
Tips: For the best flavor and texture, consume the reheated almond-crusted cod immediately. Remember, frequent temperature changes can affect the quality, so it's best to reheat only what you'll consume.
