If you are trying to figure out what the difference between a roast chicken and a roasted game hen is the only difference is the size. The Cornish hen is about 2 to 3 pounds, and you can usually find them in the freezer section.
How To Cook A Cornish Hen In The Air Fryer?
Ingredients:
- Cornbread Stuffing Mix
- Ingredients To Make Above Stuffing Mix (every package is different)
- Cornish hens
- Butter
- Salt
- Black Pepper
Simple Directions:
- Make the stuffing per the package instructions, the instructions will vary based on the specific stuffing mix you purchased.
- Wash the Cornish hens, and remove the inserts, found inside. Run water through them, until they come out clean. Season with salt and pepper.
- Stuff your Cornish hen with prepared stuffing mix.
- Spray your air fryer basket with olive oil.
- Put your Cornish hens into the air fryer, and set the temperature to 390 degrees for 12 minutes. After 12 minutes, flip, baste (if you wish), and set the timer for another 12 minutes.
- Check and make sure that the Cornish hen is fully cooked, it should have an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
- Plate, serve, and enjoy!
