This is my absolute favorite way to cook Brussels sprouts and other vegetables, my kids are eating more and more vegetables as I air fry them. Here is an easy way to make tasty Brussel sprouts in the air fryer. I hope that you will try them, and I’m sure that you will find them FULL of flavor.
I love cooking Brussel sprouts because they are a blank canvas, you can literally flavor the Brussel sprouts with anything and if you find the right combination, they will be amazing. Today’s is a basic roasting (tastes like they came out of the oven).
This makes a wonderful side dish for a nice spring meal, and it would go amazingly at any family holiday meal, and I’m looking forward to summer BBQs because I think this will be an amazing side dish.
How to Check Before Buying Brussel Sprouts:
Before you purchase check the Brussel sprouts and see if they are nice and firm. The color on the bottom should be a very pale color, as they get older, they start turning yellow. The Brussel sprout leaves should be closed, as they get old, they start opening up.
If you are lucky enough to buy them on the stalk, look for the same things, as above. But, in order to get them off the vine, twist them, this way the Brussels sprouts will come off whole.
I hope you and your family enjoy this recipe,
Item’s Used in this Recipe:
Don’t Forget to Pin:
Air Fryer-Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon
- 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 4 slices cooked bacon
Start by cutting the Brussels sprouts in half.
As you cut them, place them in a large mixing bowl.
Mix in the olive oil, salt, and pepper, mix well, so all of the Brussels sprouts are coated.
Place them in your air fryer basket, and set the time for 8 minutes at 390 degrees F.
Check the Brussels sprouts after the time is up. See if they are nice and caramelized, if not add about 3 minutes.
Note: The exact time is going to depend on how you like Brussels sprouts. I like mine nice and charred.
Pour the Brussels sprouts into a bowl, and crumble the cooked bacon on top.
