How To Make Instant Pot Peppermint Mocha Coffee Creamer
Mix all of your ingredients in a blender, or whisk. If you use a whisk, make sure everything is well incorporated.
Add your blended ingredients to 2-pint size mason jars. Close them with canning jar lids. (Do not use plastic mason jar lids in the instant pot!)
Add 1 cup of water to the bottom of your Instant Pot. Place the trivet inside with the two mason jars on the trivet. Set your instant pot to high pressure for 1 minute. This will make sure that all of the ingredients solidify together, especially the two extracts.
Place in the fridge, or transfer to a larger container, for two hours or until ready to serve.
Why add coffee creamer to coffee?
Coffee is a morning ritual for many people. Some coffee drinkers skip the cream and sugar, while others add both. And then some will turn their nose up at anything but black coffee with nothing added to it. There’s no right or wrong way to drink your cup of joe, but one question remains: Why add coffee creamer?
The answer is simple – because it tastes good! Coffee flavored creamer has been around since 1872, when Gail Borden created sweetened condensed milk and later made evaporated milk in 1865. It comes in various flavors, including hazelnut, French vanilla, Irish cream, peppermint mocha, pumpkin spice latte (seasonal), cinnamon dolce!
How long can I store homemade coffee creamer?
I’ve been storing my homemade coffee creamer in the fridge because I store all of my other dairy products, but it seems like most people keep theirs on the counter.
In a sealed or mason jar, I tend to store mine in the refrigerator, where it will last for 1 to 2 weeks.
