Easy Instant Pot Monkey Bread Recipe Tips

  • Use thawed biscuit dough: Ensures even cooking and soft, pull-apart texture.
  • Coat each piece thoroughly: Dredge every biscuit piece in cinnamon-sugar for maximum flavor.
  • Don’t overfill the Bundt pan: Leave space for the bread to expand during cooking.
  • Check doneness carefully: Cooking times may vary slightly depending on your Instant Pot model.
  • Optional add-ins: Mix in chopped nuts, chocolate chips, or drizzle with glaze for extra flavor.

Storing Instructions

  • Room Temperature: Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
  • Refrigerate: Keep in the fridge for 3–4 days; reheat in the Instant Pot, microwave, or oven.
  • Freezing: Wrap tightly in foil or a freezer-safe container for up to 1 month; thaw completely before reheating.

Equipment Used

Depending on which Instant Pot you use, you can use either a regular size bundt can pan or a mini one. Check your Instant Pot before you add your biscuits to the Bundt cake pan to ensure it fits.

Easy Instant Pot Monkey Bread Recipe Faqs

Can I use refrigerated biscuit dough instead of frozen? Yes! Just ensure the dough is fully thawed before cutting and coating in cinnamon-sugar.

Can I make this ahead of time? You can prep the biscuit pieces and cinnamon-sugar mixture ahead, but cook fresh in the Instant Pot for best texture and flavor.

Can I make it nut-free? Absolutely! Simply omit any optional nuts like walnuts or pecans.

How do I store leftovers? Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 days or in the fridge for 3–4 days.

Can I freeze monkey bread? Yes! Wrap tightly in foil or a freezer-safe container for up to 1 month. Thaw completely before reheating.

How do I reheat leftovers? Reheat in the Instant Pot on “Keep Warm,” in the oven at 350°F for 5–7 minutes, or in the microwave until warm.
