ARE STEEL CUT OATS BETTER THAN ROLLED OATS?
Many people are wondering if steel-cut oats are better than rolled oats. This article will discuss the differences between these two types of oatmeal and help you determine which is best for your dietary needs.
Steel-cut oats have a larger particle size, which leads them to be chewier in texture when cooked. They also take longer to cook than rolled oats because they need to be soaked overnight before cooking – this makes them perfect for those who prefer a slow-cooked breakfast.
However, with the Instant Pot or Pressure cooking, you do not need to soak them overnight!
These oats offer excellent fiber, protein, and iron; however, they do not contain as many vitamins compared to their rolled counterparts due to soaking for so long. Rolled oats are typically thinner in shape, making them softer in texture when cooked.
CAN YOU REHEAT INSTANT POT APPLE CINNAMON OATS?
Yes, you can reheat Instant Pot apple cinnamon oats. You need to do it carefully! The best way to reheat the Instant Pot oatmeal is by putting it in a microwave-safe dish and then microwaving for about 1 minute.
The idea of having your meal already prepared before leaving the house is a game-changer for any mom on the go. Plus, with all of the prepped ingredients that come with an instant pot recipe (like apples and cinnamon), this breakfast will taste as you made them from scratch! So what are you waiting for?
