- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 4 leaves Romaine, or iceberg lettuce
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, or smoked paprika
Instructions
- Lay 8 slices thick-cut bacon in a single layer in your air fryer basket (work in batches if needed). Sprinkle 4 tablespoons brown sugar evenly over each slice.
- Cook at 375°F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bacon is crispy and the sugar has caramelized. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Lightly toast your 8 slices bread in a toaster or in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes at 350°F.
- Spread 1/2 cup mayonnaise on each slice of toasted bread. Layer with 4 leaves Romaine, 1 large tomato slices, add a sprinkle of 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (optional) and 2–3 strips of brown sugar bacon. Top with another bread slice and press gently.
