This was my lunch today, and I really enjoyed it. I have to say there is nothing like a Homemade Air Fryer Steak Salad, complete with some leftover Air Fryer Butternut Squash.
This is such an easy salad to make at home, and it’s a great way to switch up your meal planning. Because everyone in my house enjoys a hearty salad. Loaded with juicy steak tips and the sweetness of the roasted butternut squash, you have a great lunch or dinner, and it’s relatively healthy! Talk about a winner.
Today I used some steak tips, marinaded in a quick honey bourbon steak marinade.
Air Fryer Steak Salad
Steak:
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Worcesehtire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2-pound rib-eye steaks, cut into 1 to 2-inch pieces
Salad:
- 4 cups of butter or romaine lettuce
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in half
- 1/2 cucumber, diced
- 1/2 shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup red onions, sliced
- 1 cup air fryer butternut squash
Steak Directions:
- In a large mixing bowl, mix the honey, brown sugar, bourbon, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and minced garlic.
- Place teh steak in the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for about an hour.
- Then preheat your air fryer and set the meat into the air fryer, 400 degrees F, for 5 minutes, flip the steak tips and air fry for another 5-10 minutes.
- Let cool slightly.
To Make The Steak Salad:
- Add all of the salad ingredients to a large mixing bowl.
- Toss.
- Add a few steak tips to each plate.
- Serve with your favorite salad dressing.
