  • Tomato: There is nothing like fresh ripe-vine tomatoes; some of my favorites are Roma or even Cherry Tomatoes.
  • Onion: Use either sweet onion, Vidalia, or even red onions, the onions as a bit of crunch to the salad.
  • Feta Cheese: There is nothing better than fresh crumbled feta cheese. It brings a genuine freshness to the recipe.
  • Avocado: A great and healthy source of protein, it adds authentic flavor to the salad.
  • Sirloin or Ribe Eye Steak: Both are flavorful cuts of meat that go well in a steak salad.
  • Seasonings: Garlic Powder and Basil both add flavor to your steak.
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Butter: Coats the steak in the air fryer and helps keep it tender and delicious.

Creamy Cilantro Dressing

  • Cilantro: This makes the dressing. There is nothing like fresh cilantro.
  • Garlic: Adds a lot of flavors to the homemade salad dressing
  • Lemon: Adds a great citrus
  • Greek Yogurt: Makes this homemade cilantro dressing, really creamy
  • Honey: Adds some sweetness and thickens the sauce up.

Pro Tips For Making The Best Air Fryer Steak Salad

Are you looking to make a delicious and healthy air fryer steak salad? Look no further! This recipe is simple to follow and yields a mouthwatering dish perfect for any occasion. Follow these pro tips to make sure your salad turns out just right.

Picking a Steak: If you’re looking for a salad packed with flavor and spice, then look no further! This one is sure to please any palate. You can swap in skirt steak or ribeye if your preference defaults more towards leaner meat; however, I think the classic version of this dish starts out best when using beef tenderloin (or flank).

Let the Steak Rest: To make the most of your steak, don’t cut into it before 10-15 minutes!

Customize Dressings: This salad has a built-in excuse to break out your favorite dressing! The ingredients go great with any flavor you’re craving, so feel free to mix up the flavors. You can also switch up what’s on top by using different dressings like honey balsamic, homemade blue cheese dressing, or even cilantro-lime sour cream crema, for some added nutrition that will leave everyone’s taste buds satisfied in more ways than one.

Adding Other Vegetables: This is one of my favorite salads. I love the mix of flavors and textures, including air fryer hard-boiled eggs or homemade air fryer croutons for added crunchiness!

Serve With: The side of salad alone is worth eating, but you can make it more filling by adding some Air Fryer Homemade Pull-Apart Rolls or even Air Fryer Frozen Breadsticks!

Storing Leftover Salad

When planning to make this salad ahead of time, don’t dress it until just before serving! The moisture from the dressing will cause your veggies and greens in the fridge to become soggy.

In The Refrigerator: Cover your salad bowl in plastic wrap and it will stay fresh for up to 5 days if you’ve added dressing, though it will only stay fresh for about a day.
