Yummy, Air Fryer Spam! Today’s breakfast included a hearty serving of Air-Fried SPAM, which was fabulous. It is juicy, and it’s delicious fried up.

If you ever wanted to know how to cook spam in the air fryer, this is how to get a great crispy and delicious serving to go with your morning breakfast.

Everyone knows what that canned meat looks like; some people love it, some people hate it. Some people are even scared to eat it. I bought a bunch when I started to air fry, I wanted to know how great it will do in the air fryer, and I came up with one of my best and most popular recipes ever, how to make Air Fryer SPAM Fries.

Here are some of my favorites if you are looking for even more air fryer recipes for breakfast meats. Air Fryer Turkey Bacon, Air Fryer Crispy Bacon, Air Fryer Sausages and of course Air Fryer Eggs (I know not meat)

What Is SPAM?

You probably know that you can find SPAM in the aisle at your grocery store with the tuna fish and other canned meats. What you probbaly don’t know is what exactly is SPAM?

SPAM was a food that came about during World War II when the war office gave it to soldiers on the battlefield. It, therefore, became trendy in the Hawaiian, Okinawa, and Philalipinies.

What it really is is canned ham. Since I could not find any information about what part of ham it really is, it is probably pork shoulder. It is flavored with some spices, potato starch, sugar, and preservatives.

How To Make Air Fryer SPAM

This is the package that I used in the recipe, I believe the container is pretty much the same that you would get around the globe.

Cut the Spam

Cut the SPAM up, into about 1/4 inch pieces. If you want it thicker, cut it thicker.

Place your SPAM slices into the air fryer basket and set the temperature to 400 degrees F, air fryer setting, and flipping halfway for 10-12 minutes.
