Air Fryer Sausages With Roasted Apples and Butternut Squash is a fantastic meal. It’s one air fryer basket or tray meal, and super simple.

I am a huge fan of sheet pan dinners, they are so good, and the air fryer is the perfect place to make these. WIth only one pan to make at the end of the meal, how can you go wrong?

The air fryer also does a fantastic job at roasting vegetables, today, I added onions, apples, and butternut squash, but you can use any combination you like. That is the beauty of sheet pan meals.

The air fryer does a fantastic job of roasting the Italian sausages in this recipe. Then I added some great, easy, complimentary items to this sheet pan dinner.

I love roasted apples and love roasted squash, so they were the natural items to pair Italian sausages well. Still, you could add some roasted potatoes; if you wanted to, be sure to make them about the same size as the other vegetables so they all air fry together.

  • Butternut Squash
  • Onion
  • Apple
  • Sage
  • Olive Oil

How To Make Air Fryer Sausages With Roasted Apples and Butternut Squash

Sausages In Air Fryer With Vegetables

Start by cutting up the vegetables, and apples, then add them into the air fryer basket. Add in the Italian Sausages on top. Spray the vegetables and apples with some cooking spray.

Set the temperature to 350 degrees F, air fryer setting, for 10 to 12 minutes. Shake the basket frequently during the cooking process.

Check the sausage’s internal temperature before removing it; it should be 160 degrees F before removing it.

Garnish with fresh sage.

Can I Use Other Veggies?

Yes, that is the beauty of this dish. You can use whatever you have on hand. I would urge that you cut all of the vegetables the same size so they all air fry up evenly. Otherwise, you are going to end up with some overcooked vegetables.

  • Zucchini or Squash
  • Fingerling Potatoes

Description

This is such an easy and simple meal, one basket air fryer meal. Usually called a Sheet Pan dinner, it includes roasted vegetables, apples, and perfectly cooked and tender Italian sausages.

Ingredients 

  • 4-6 Italian Sausages
  • 1/2 cup white onions, diced
  • 1 cup butternut squash, diced
  • 1 cup apples, any type diced
  • 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 sprig sage

Instructions
