We all love cake, I mean, who wouldn’t want a nice slice of homemade, Air Fryer Vanilla Cake, after a nice meal. I usually pair it with a hot cup of coffee for dessert. It also makes a great breakfast.
This is a classic vanilla cake recipe, made from scratch. It is so easy, to make you will soon be forgetting about the cake mixes and replacing this cake at all of your events and functions. This makes a killer cake!
The Ingredients For This Recipe–
- All-purpose flour
- Granulated Sugar
- Baking Soda
- Salt
- Pure Vanilla Extract
- Vegetable Oil
- Water
- Olive Oil Cooking Spray
The Directions Are Super Simple-
- In a mixing bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, vanilla extract, oil, water and mix together.
- Spray your air fryer safe pan with non-stick cooking spray or olive oil spray.
- Pour your cake batter into the pan, then air fry for 30 minutes at 330 degrees F.

Yes, they both make a great cake. Feel free to switch out all-purpose to gluten-free too, it makes for a great gluten-free cake.
What Are The Best Cake Pan to Use in the Air Fryer?
I love a good bundt cake in the air fryer, this way you really don’t have to worry about the middle cooking, a common problem in air fryers. If you do not want a bundt cake, I strongly suggest you use a thinner pan, which will enable the air fryer to completely cook your cake.

How Do You Store Leftover Cake?
I always make a cake the night before I need it, and let it sit at room temperature, and then frost or ice it the next day. Just make sure that the cake is wrapped with saran wrap, so it does not dry out.
When you have any leftovers, after you ice or frost the cake, simply cover the cake or put it in an airtight container and place it in the refrigerator, it should last a couple of days.
