Frequently Asked Questions!

How to Make A Moist Chocolate Cake In The Air Fryer

Here are my tips, to help you make an amazing cake in the air fryer!

  1. Overmix The Ingredients: Do not overmix the ingredients, otherwise, you will end up with a dense cake. As you mix flour, the gluten starts to be released, and if you overmix it will end up with a dense cake.
  2. Measure Your Ingredients Correctly: For the best results, be sure to measure your flour and cocoa powder by weight using a digital kitchen scale. This will ensure that you get light, airy cakes with no cracks or crevices in them!
  3. Timing: Check your cake frequently as it bakes up. since every air fryer is slightly different, the time will vary from air fryer to air fryer. So, check on your cake frequently, and use a toothpick. When the toothpick is inserted into the middle of the cake and it comes out clean, remove the cake, from the air fryer.

Can I bake this with different-sized baking pans?

Yes, the key to baking in the air fryer is using the right-sized pan. I find that using a pan that is smaller than your air fryer basket is key. You want to leave plenty of space around the baking pan, so the hot air can circulate around the pan, which will help it cook up.

Here are a couple of my favorite Air Fryer Cake Pans!
