Frozen Clam Strips Air Fried

Cooking or Air Frying Pre-Cooked Clam Strips:

These are precooked and already breaded for you for a quick and easy meal. There are so many great brands on the market now.

They should go from the freezer to the air fryer for best results, and you don’t want to let them thaw. Otherwise, they will end up watery. So, for best results, add them directly to your air fryer basket, frozen. No oil is needed since they already used oil when they precooked them.

Cooking or Air Frying Raw Clam Strips:

Raw: If you purchase raw clam strips or bellies, the store or company already breaded them, but did not cook them. You can still use the same recipe, but your time would be increased, and I would spray some cooking spray on them so that the clam strips crisp up.

Spread your clam strips into the air fryer basket, set the temperature to 375 degrees F, air fryer setting, and air fry for 6 to 10 minutes. Shake the basket serval times during the cooking process.

How long do you air fry fried clams?

Preheat your Air Fryer To 400 degrees F, air fryer setting for 5 minutes. Then add the clams to the basket, set the timer to 5 minutes to 7 minutes.

How do you cook frozen clam strips?

If you want to use an oven for cooking up these frozen clam strips, add them to a baking sheet, single layer, and then place into a 425degrees F, preheated oven for 16-20 minutes, or until cooked through. For best results, flip halfway through the cooking process.
