HOW TO MAKE AIR FRYER SALMON

Maple Syrup in Mason jar for the sauce

Start by making the sauce; mix the maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, garlic salt, and pepper in a small mixing bowl.

Pour the sauce over the salmon.

Place the salmon in your air fryer basket or on the air fryer tray.

Set the tray or basket in the air fryer, and set the temperature to 400 degrees F for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, check on the salmon. It’s effortless to overcook salmon, so remove it as soon as it is flaky. So I added another 2 minutes.

HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN SALMON IS DONE?

There are two foolproof ways to tell if salmon is truly done. They are by using a meat thermometer and checking the internal temperature.

The other way is to grab a fork and see if the salmon flakes easily. Once it starts to flake, remove it from the air fryer.

DOES SALMON IN THE AIR FRYER STINK UP THE HOUSE?

No, but this is a  really common question for people who are afraid to use their air fryer for the risk of smelling up the house.

It will not smell, the fan really helps you circulate the odor, and there is no residue in your kitchen of you making fish or salmon for dinner!

CAN I USE FROZEN SALMON?

Although this recipe has a glaze, I recommend that you start fresh, so defrost before using it in this recipe.

CAN I USE SALMON THAT STILL HAS THE SKIN ON?

Of course. The trick would be to cook the salmon with the skin side down. This will give a great flavor to the salmon dish.
