Pro Tips

Here are some pro tips for making the best Salmon Spring Rolls:

  • Select Fresh Ingredients: Use fresh and high-quality ingredients, including salmon, vegetables, and herbs, for the best flavor and texture in your spring rolls.
  • Prep Ingredients in Advance: Prepare all the ingredients before assembling the spring rolls, including cooking the salmon and slicing the vegetables and herbs. This will make the assembly process smoother and more efficient.
  • Keep Ingredients Dry: Ensure the cooked salmon and vegetables are well-drained and patted dry before assembling the spring rolls. Excess moisture can make the rice paper wrappers soggy and difficult to work with.
  • Soften Rice Paper Properly: Soften the rice paper wrappers in warm water until they become pliable but not too soft. Oversoaking can cause the wrappers to tear easily during assembly.
  • Don’t Overfill: Be mindful not to overfill the spring rolls to prevent them from bursting or tearing. Start with a small amount of filling and gradually add more if needed.
  • Roll Tightly: Roll the spring rolls tightly to encase the filling securely. Tuck in the sides as you roll to ensure a neat and compact shape.
  • Seal Seam Properly: Seal the seam of the spring rolls tightly to prevent them from unraveling during cooking. Press down firmly to secure the edges.
  • Brush with Oil: Lightly brush or spray the outer surface of the spring rolls with oil before air frying. This will help them achieve a golden brown and crispy exterior.
  • Arrange Evenly in Air Fryer: Arrange the spring rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch each other. This allows for even air circulation and ensures uniform cooking.
  • Monitor Closely: Keep an eye on the spring rolls while cooking in the air fryer to prevent them from over-browning or burning. Adjust the cooking time if needed to achieve the desired level of crispiness.

Following these pro tips, you can make delicious and perfectly crispy Salmon Spring Rolls in the air fryer every time!
